  • Events and Expos

Out of the vaults of RB Productions comes another blast from the past! It's a brief look at Micropalooza 2003, the chip tune event which was held at the Ground Kontrol arcade in Portland, Oregon. In this video, you'll hear some of the music, see some of the arcade machines, and view some of the dancing which was held on that day. Watch the video carefully, and you'll see some C= notables in the background.

At the end of the video you'll watch two musical numbers from Seth Sternberger of 8-Bit Weapon. He's a master playing music live on the C64/128 keyboard!  read more »

uIEC/SD now available

Submitted by RobertB on Wed, 02/04/2009 - 09:01.
  • General Commodore News

Jim Brain now has the SD flashcard version of the uIEC available. uIEC sames the same firmware as the new SD2IEC, but there differences which Jim relates below:

* uIEC/SD is currently the smallest known CBM drive (1.5" x 1.5" by 0.3"). Perfect for embedding in your favorite machine, drive, or calculator (shout out to Tone007, who stuffed one in a CBM pocket calculator)
* uIEC/SD shares the same 128kB Atmel AVR 8-bit microcontroller as the rest of the uIEC line. With 51kB used for firmware, there's plenty of room left for the future.  read more »
