$5 entry to help cover costs.

Next SCCAN meeting - Sunday, June 13
There is another SCCAN meeting on Sunday June 13, from 2 p.m. to 4+ p.m. in Southern California. If you need to know the exact location, send me a message.
Demonstrations include a look at various C= card drives for attendees to compare - uIEC/SD, uIEC/CF with IDE, and SD2IEC - and hundreds of Amiga floppy disks to try out. If you are coming, don't forget to bring your stuff to show off/demonstrate. See you at the meeting!

The bi-monthly Netherlands Commodore Show strikes with a vengeance! Saturday, June 12, the show concentrates on Commodore, Amiga, and Robots! See the original announcement (in Dutch) and get directions to the show venue by going to

No joke, so I am an avid fan of the tv series Smallville. The episode arc is titled 'ABSOLUTE JUSTICE' Episode Summary - A man named Sylvester asks Chloe for help but ends up getting attacked and killed. Clark is led to the former headquarters of the Justice Society of America where he meets up with Dr. Fate, Hawkman, and Stargirl. Now this is in the JSA hq, (in the 2nd episode) while everyone is in the museum scene, Chloe asks Stargirl if they have a computer, Starfirl takes her to a non descript table/desk and lo and behold, revealed is a COMMODORE 64 breadbox..... yay commodore!!!! read more »
C=4 Expo 2010
We are happy to inform you that the fifth anniversary of the C4 Expo is scheduled. C=4 2010 will occur on Memorial Day week-end, May 29th and 30th at the Drawbridge Inn located in Ft. Mitchell, KY. That is just across the Ohio river from Cincinnati.
At this time, we have secured the room starting at 1530hrs on Friday, the 28th for early setup and mingling

Willis Patten has passed away
Many of you probably knew my father, Willis Patten. He passed away tuesday at 1:00 pm at Kindred Hospital in louisville. There will be a small memorial service in shelbyville kentucky. no flowers please.
Netherlands Commodore Show - Saturday, April 17
The bi-monthly Netherlands Commodore Show reappears! This time it's this Saturday, April 17. It's at the usual place and time -- the Trefpunt, Kerkweg 21 in Maarssen from 10:00 until 16:00. The show will be devoted to the Commodore 16, 116, and Plus/4 computers. But that doesn't mean other Commodore computers will be ignored! There will be other C= 8-bit computers and Amiga computers, too. As always, there will be presentations and a sales table.
