Anyone interested in coming to a C64 night in Brisbane on 4th of September?

5:00pm - 11:00pm on the 4th of September
At Petrie (North Side of Brisbane), the hall is about 5 minutes walk from train station.

$5 entry to help cover costs.

Everything & anything C64.

CBM-Command for the VIC-20

Payton Byrd has released the file manager, CBM-Command for the VIC-20. Go to

SPECIAL RELEASE
This release should only be considered a preview release for VIC-20
functionality.

New Features
* 32K Expanded VIC-20 now supported

Changes
* (VIC20) Panels are not displayed side by side, only one panel is
displayed at a time.
* (VIC20) D64 support is removed, the RAM was needed elsewhere.
* (ALL) The screen has been made more scalable.

New Pacific Northwest Commodore clubs

There are two new Commodore clubs in the Pacific Northwest. First is the Portland Commodore User Group (PDXCUG). PDXCUG meets at 7 p.m. every second Thursday of the month. There is another SCCAN meeting on Sunday June 13, from 2 p.m. to 4+ p.m. in Southern California. If you need to know the exact location, send me a message.

Demonstrations include a look at various C= card drives for attendees to compare - uIEC/SD, uIEC/CF with IDE, and SD2IEC - and hundreds of Amiga floppy disks to try out. If you are coming, don't forget to bring your stuff to show off/demonstrate. See you at the meeting!
